Laser Engraved mini wallet made in collaboration with Caravan Canina, Caravana Canina is a non-profit organization based in Oaxaca’s central valleys, dedicated to sterilizing, vaccinating, caring for and finding homes for street dogs and cats. Caravana Canina works with a team of rescuers who provide temporary housing and care for street dog rescues, while they await their permanent homes.

I met Caitlin Garcia-Ahern on one of her wonderful Thread Caravan trips and was immediately struck by her compassion and genuine desire to help the animals she crosses paths with as well as find homes for countless animals that would otherwise live much harder lives. Caravana Canina has found homes for 108+ dogs, provided spay and neuter services for 275+ dogs as well as fed, de-wormed and vaccinated countless dogs in Mexico and Guatemala.

The illustrations on the front and back of this mini wallet are a combination of my cactus and poppies as well as the adorable dog illustrations provided by Socrates Medina for Caravana Canina.
